Malachi 2:12
The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts. The Lord will cut off from the tabernacles of Jacob the man who profanes His holiness by marrying a worshiper of another god. The master and the scholar named in the warning mean persons of every rank are included, both those who teach and those who are taught. The cutting off reaches even to him who offers an offering to the Lord of hosts. No religious standing and no presenting of offerings gives protection from this judgment. Because of this treachery God regards the offenders' offerings as unacceptable to Him.
