Mark 6:53

And when they had passed over, they came into the land of Gennesaret, and drew to the shore.

Mark 6:53 belongs to the account of the feeding of the multitude at Bethsaida and Capernaum in A.D. 30. It describes Jesus and the disciples passing over the water and coming to shore in the land of Gennesaret. That landing followed their withdrawing to a lonely place to rest, but the crowd pursued them so that their rest was interrupted as people continued to seek His help.

In the verses that follow, people recognize Jesus and bring the sick to Him, and even those who touch the edge of His garment are healed, showing His healing of the sick during His earthly ministry.
