Jesus Heals the Blind Man at Bethsaidaby emmanuel_higgins

Mark 8:23

And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

He took the blind man by the hand and guided him outside the town, then moistened his eyes, laid hands upon him, and asked if he perceived anything at all. The first touch gave only indistinct, partial vision, but when he was touched a second time and bidden to look upward he saw everything plainly and clearly. This two-stage restoration shows that work done for people may need to be followed by further light before they are able to see clearly.
