Mark 9:30

And they departed thence, and passed through Galilee; and he would not that any man should know it.

Jesus departed with His disciples and passed through Galilee quietly and privately, not wanting anyone to know where He was and avoiding public attention. This passage through Galilee took place before they reached Capernaum. He sought this privacy to devote the time to instructing His disciples rather than teaching the crowds. Apart with them on that journey, He taught them that He would be betrayed and delivered into human hands, be killed, and rise on the third day.
