Matthew 15:31

Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

The verse describes Jesus healing those unable to speak so that they spoke, the maimed and disabled so that they became whole, the lame so that they walked, and the blind so that they saw. It took place on a mountain near the Sea of Galilee, where great multitudes laid the afflicted at His feet and He healed them all. Those brought included the weak, the deformed, and others suffering illness, and no one left His presence unhelped.

The crowd that witnessed this was Gentile, yet it recognized and praised Israel's God. The multitude wondered at what they saw and glorified the God of Israel, and the healings brought hope and gladness. The miracles directed attention away from Jesus toward God the Father as the source of His power. His mighty works affirmed His claims as the Messiah, and those who were healed recognized Him as their Saviour and praised God.

Despite this evidence, prejudice and unbelief kept some from accepting Him. The verse is a lesson for His people today that the work He did in healing the sick and meeting the needs of the needy is work His followers are to share in. That healing work is to be done in connection with health institutions, which did not exist in the early days of the message but now do.
