Jesus was moved by compassion for the blind men in the healing of Bartimaeus. Their appeal for mercy was answered when he touched their eyes and they immediately received sight. Having received their sight, they followed him. The account is the pattern for bringing a sick person to Jesus in faith and trusting him as the great Physician for healing.
