Micah 1:10

Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust.

Micah gave the word as part of a message of wrath and warning to Israel and Judah in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, when he stood as a prophet of judgment. It belongs to the vision in which Jehovah comes forth out of His place amid awful convulsions of nature because of the sins of the house of Israel and the transgressions of Jacob. In that vision the word stands among descriptions of village after village destroyed as Samaria goes down and desolation comes to the very gates of Jerusalem. The vision moves on to its climax in Zion plowed as a field and Jerusalem become heaps.
