Micah 2:3
Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil. The Lord Himself devises calamity against this family, meaning the guilty people who devise evil upon their beds and carry it out. It is a sentence of judgment announced against those who plot evil, declaring what He will bring upon them.
Those under this sentence will not be able to remove their necks from it and escape, nor will they go on walking haughtily and proudly, for this time is evil and a time of judgment. The warning stands among declarations of coming destruction and desolation that will come upon the earth and become universal. This Old Testament prophecy will be fulfilled in the last days, when scenes of destruction and desolation come.
