Micah 4:12
But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor. But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor.
The saying speaks of the nations that gather themselves together against Zion. They come in hostility, assembling for their own ends while ignorant of a higher design. They do not know the thoughts of the Lord, nor do they understand His counsel and purpose.
Their coming together cannot overthrow what God has purposed. Their enmity cannot stop Him from redeeming Zion out of the hand of her enemies. For it is the Lord Himself who is gathering them, even as bundles of grain are gathered to the threshing floor. He draws them to the place where judgment meets them.
