Micah 7:3

That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.

Micah 7:3 portrays a society whose leadership is united in eager wrongdoing, pursuing evil deliberately and with full effort as with both hands. The prince and the judge each demand payment for their favor, making justice a matter of bribery rather than right. Alongside them the powerful man openly declares his corrupt desire, without shame or concealment. Rulers, judges, and influential men thus combine their authority and influence to accomplish the evil scheme together. Their offices serve injustice instead of righteousness, wrapping up the corrupt transaction as a joint enterprise.
