Nehemiah 11:25 belongs to Nehemiah's account of the remnant that returned to Jerusalem after the captivity. It describes the condition of the people as they settled in their land, with some of the people of Judah living in villages with their surrounding fields. Those dwelling places included Kirjath-arba and its villages, Dibon and its villages, and Jekabzeel and its villages.
