Nehemiah 3:24
After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah unto the turning of the wall, even unto the corner. After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah unto the turning of the wall, even unto the corner.
Binnui the son of Henadad repaired another piece of the wall, working from the house of Azariah to the turning of the wall, even to the corner. That labor was part of the rebuilding of Jerusalem's defensive wall. The rebuilding began when Nehemiah arrived safely in Jerusalem on an important mission, carrying royal letters and accompanied by a military escort from the Persian king. From the start his work faced the jealous, closely watching opposition of Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, who sought by every means to thwart his plans and hinder the work. The rebuilding of Jerusalem's defenses pictures the restoration of spiritual protection.
