Nehemiah 4:15
And it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it was known unto us, and God had brought their counsel to nought, that we returned all of us to the wall, every one unto his work. When the enemies heard that their hostile plot had become known to the builders, their advantage was lost. God brought the enemies' counsel to nothing by exposing it and defeating it. After the plot was frustrated, all the builders returned together to the wall, each one to his assigned work of rebuilding. The renewed labor combined work with defense, with half the servants standing guard while the builders worked prepared to defend themselves. God's power to expose and defeat hostile plans gave the workers confidence to continue rebuilding despite opposition.
