Numbers 27:11

And if his father have no brethren, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be unto the children of Israel a statute of judgment, as the LORD commanded Moses.

When a man’s father has no brothers, his inheritance is to be given to the kinsman who is next nearest to him of his family, and that kinsman is to possess it. The provision belongs to the laws guarding women’s inheritance rights. It was made a binding statute of judgment for the children of Israel.
