Numbers 30:16
These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father’s house. These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father’s house.
These are the statutes commanded to Moses governing vows between a man and his wife and between a father and his daughter while she is yet in her youth in her father's house. The chapter sets forth the circumstances under which a vow made by a wife or by a daughter may become void, so that the one who made it is released from it. In keeping with the statutes governing the relations of husband and wife and of a father and his young daughter living in his household, a wife who cooks swine's flesh for her husband at his request is not counted guilty merely for doing so.
