Numbers 32:25
And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben spake unto Moses, saying, Thy servants will do as my lord commandeth. And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben spake unto Moses, saying, Thy servants will do as my lord commandeth.
The speakers are the descendants of Gad and of Reuben addressing Moses in reply. Their reply is a pledge to carry out what he as their leader has directed. That pledge bound them to provide settled homes for their families on the east side of the Jordan and then to take up arms together with the other tribes until all had come into their inheritance.
