Numbers 32:35

And Atroth, Shophan, and Jaazer, and Jogbehah,

The verse stands within Moses' dealing with the two and a half tribes that proposed to remain on the east side of Jordan, belonging to the account of their settlement east of the Jordan. In that setting he feared they would depart from God and fail in the fulfilment of their solemn vows, and so gave the solemn admonition that their sin would find them out. He knew that such turning from God and failure to keep their vows would bring upon themselves lasting sorrow and final ruin.
