Numbers 33:9

And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.

Numbers 33:9 stands within the record of Israel's wilderness encampments, a list that preserves the names of places along their journey. Of most of those encampment places little remains, and no notable events at them are recorded.

The threescore and ten palm trees at Elim were a blessing to Israel when they arrived there. Like the palm tree, the righteous flourish and are ever to be a blessing.
