Obadiah 1:19
And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead. And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead.
The possession of the mount of Esau by those of the south points to the closing conflict over worship of the image of the beast. In that crisis Jacob identifies believers and Esau identifies unbelievers. The prophecy therefore distinguishes the two companies divided by worship in the last days. Its fulfillment is the triumph of the company of Jacob over the company of Esau.
