The household of the wicked is appointed to be brought down and overthrown. The dwelling of the upright is appointed to stand and to flourish in contrast. The two moral courses therefore lead to directly opposite ends, ruin on the one side and prosperity on the other. Wickedness undermines the house that holds it, while uprightness secures the tabernacle in which it dwells.
