The heart that has understanding actively pursues knowledge, and it is the privilege of every youth and every person to set a high mark for himself by that seeking. When that seeking is joined with walking in the way of the Lord, the seeker becomes a laborer together with God. Through the Lord's help he accomplishes good work, and with God's help that faithful pursuit lifts him to a place in the world that few reach, as when talents are diligently used in work such as that of a physician. That same faithful course causes even those who were supposed to be enemies to be at peace with him.
