Proverbs 24:26

Every man shall kiss his lips that giveth a right answer.

The proverb belongs to the first collection of Solomon's proverbs extending from chapter 1 to chapter 24, which was probably brought together by Solomon himself or at least in his time. It teaches that the one who gives a right answer gains the respect and approval of others. In preaching that right answer takes the form of refusing to sink or belittle an audience as inferior, addressing its members as responsible persons, speaking truthfully and boldly, and keeping regard to God rather than acting from fear of human judgment.
