Proverbs 31:3

Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.

The proverbs of the chapter were taught to King Lemuel by his mother, presumably during his childhood. Lemuel is thought to be another name for Solomon. The chapter is a beautiful description of a good woman.

Licentious conduct impairs strength and can ruin it, including the strength young men need for faithful service.
