The Young Man's Crossroads from Proverbs 5Bible World

Proverbs 5:11

And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,

Intimacy with a strange woman ends at the last in mourning, when flesh and body are wasted and consumed away. She at first seems sweet as honey and smooth as oil, but her end is bitter and wounding. The protection is to stay far from her and not go near her house.

To do otherwise is to give one's honor to others and one's years to the cruel. One's wealth and labor then go to fill a stranger's house. Her path inclines downward to death with no return, and her guests are in the depths of hell.
