Young Man Walking by Lamplight With a ScrollBible World
6:23Proverbs 6:23
For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
God's commandment serves as a lamp and His law as light to guide people along the way of life. That law unfolds the light of truth to shine into people's minds and lead them out of darkness. Instructional reproof is the way of life because it warns against evil and helps keep a person from it.
