The Lord is King for ever and ever, His reign having no end or interruption. The heathen have perished out of His land, removed entirely from the place of His dominion. From that kingship follows His care for the lowly, for He hears the desire of the humble, prepares their heart, and listens to judge the fatherless and the oppressed, so that the oppressive man of the earth may oppress no more.
