At sunrise the lions gather themselves together and withdraw to lie down in their dens. Their going in marks the morning turn of a daily rhythm appointed for the creatures. As the sun rises they seek rest, while that same hour is the time for people to go out to work. Night roaming gives way to daytime lying down, and human labor begins as animal rest begins.
