Psalms 105:14

He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;

The verse belongs to the record of Israel's history and to the account of Israel's experience in the wilderness. That same wilderness experience is also told in 1 Corinthians 10:1-5.

It shows that God protected Abraham among foreign peoples, warning kings against harming him and avenging any injury done to him. By that warning He made clear that Abraham, as one of His anointed servants, and His people were under His protection. It also shows that He protected Abraham's descendants when they were few in number and living as strangers among other nations, allowing no one to wrong them and rebuking kings for their sake with warning not to harm His anointed people and prophets. As part of that history, the verse reveals His goodness, mercy, and love toward His people.

That experience supplies warnings, lessons, and examples for God's people in the last days. It holds a lesson of warning that God's people in the last days especially need to study, and therefore should be studied regularly. For that reason Psalm 105 should be read at least once every week.
