Psalms 105:27

They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.

Psalm 105:27 belongs to the psalm's recounting of Israel's history, a record that calls attention to God's goodness, mercy, and love. The land of Ham named in the verse is Egypt, where God's signs and wonders were shown among the people. The ones who displayed those signs and wonders in Egypt were Moses and Aaron. Those signs and wonders were the plagues by which God displayed His power in bringing judgment on Egypt while preparing to deliver Israel from slavery. In this the verse reveals God's goodness, mercy, and love in His wonderful dealings with Israel.

The verse is part of Israel's experience that holds lessons of warning that God's people in the last days especially need to study. For that reason Psalms 105 and 106 should be read at least once every week. All who claim to be God's children should read Psalms 105, 106, and 107 carefully to appreciate God's goodness, mercy, and love.
