Psalms 105:35

And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.

The verse recounts the locust plague in Egypt, when swarms consumed every green plant across the land and stripped away the produce of the soil. It belongs to the inspired record of Israel's wilderness experience, a history preserved as a warning for God's people living in the last days. That history is to be studied regularly, so its cautions are kept fresh in mind. Joined with Psalm 106, this record forms a united testimony of warning for the final generation.
