Miriam and Moses Praise God at the Red Seaby emmanuel_higgins

Psalms 106:11

And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.

At the Red Sea God delivered Israel by covering the pursuing enemies with water so that not one survived. That complete destruction displayed His mighty power in saving Israel, and afterward the people believed His words and praised Him. As part of the recorded history of the Israelites, it calls attention to God's goodness, mercy, and love.

As part of Israel's wilderness experience, it is to be studied and heeded as a warning to avoid Israel's sins, unbelief, and rebellion. As part of Israel's experience, it provides warnings for God's people in the last days and is to be studied as an example. As part of the record of that experience, it holds warnings for God's people in the last days and should be studied as a lesson against idolatry and falling into sin.

Psalm 106 is one of five psalms, 103 through 107, whose words are repeated by a large company represented by Daniells and Prescott. The company keeps growing until it becomes a multitude. Then they pass one by one through a very narrow gate that allows no burden even the lightest, while those unwilling to relinquish their idols are left behind.
