Psalms 106:27

To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.

Because Israel despised the promised land, disbelieved His word, and murmured against Him, He swore by oath that they would fall in the wilderness. The threatened consequence extended to their descendants, who would be overthrown among the nations and scattered through other lands.

The record of Israel's experience stands as a warning lesson for God's people in the last days. It contains warnings that those living in the last days need, and it is urged for regular study. The account is to be studied regularly and not neglected.

The verse belongs among the words of Psalms 103, 104, 105, 106, and 107 repeated by a company pictured as led by Daniells and Prescott. That company keeps increasing in numbers until it becomes a multitude. The multitude then passes one by one through a very narrow gate through which no burden however light can be taken. Those unwilling to relinquish their idols are left behind.
