Psalms 107:32

Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.

The psalm to which this call belongs exists to teach the need to appreciate divine goodness, mercy, and love. Within that setting the verse summons God's people to praise and exalt Him together in public worship, before the congregation of the people and in the assembly of the elders. That public joining is voiced in the congregation's united Amen, which shows that they understand the word spoken and enter with one voice into the worship.
