Psalms 112:7

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

A heart fixed in trust in the Lord is firmly settled and steady, remaining firm instead of being swayed by changing pressures. To be fixed is to stay firm in that trust, made steady by trusting in God. Such fixed trust leaves no reason for doubt and gives grounds for hope rather than doubt.

This trust leads to waiting for the Lord and asking in faith for His help and power, with confidence in His salvation. The bringing of relief to Brother Harmon is an example of the help God gives in response to such trust. Repeating the words of the verse encourages placing trust in God.
