Psalms 113:3

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’s name is to be praised.

The Lord's name is to be praised through the whole course of the day, from morning when the sun rises until evening when it sets. On the night of the Passover supper, when about to be betrayed and to die, Jesus sang that praise.

The verse also describes the completed plan of redemption after Satan's six-thousand-year struggle for possession of the world. Then the world is brought back into God's favor and all that was lost by sin is restored, with not only man but the earth itself redeemed as the eternal home of the obedient, so that God's original purpose in creation is accomplished. Then the saints possess the kingdom forever and ever, and the Lord is one Lord and king over all the earth. His word settled in heaven and all His commandments sure and standing fast forever are honored throughout a sinless universe. Righteousness and praise spring forth before all the nations from east to west.
