Psalms 118:4

Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

Those who fear the Lord are called to declare that His mercy endures forever. It is a personal utterance of thankfulness for His grace, for His salvation, and for the strength by which He sustains. Its words are part of a song of thanksgiving that Christ sang while He labored, and while He was blamed and misunderstood. Even those who had scolded Him joined with Him in singing it. His example shows that God's enduring mercy can be remembered and voiced in praise even in the midst of work and misunderstanding.
