Psalms 119:135

Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.

The verse belongs to a psalm that exalts God's law, presenting God's word and testimonies as the guide for life and the source of instruction in right and wrong.

In the last days when contempt is placed upon God's law, the commandment-keeping people described in Revelation 14 echo this prayer for God's favor toward His servant and to be taught His statutes with happy, uplifted voices. Their fidelity and loyalty to the laws of God's kingdom grow with the emergency, so that contempt for the law only leads them to reveal their love for that law more decidedly. By echoing this prayer with heart and voice, they proclaim the third angel's message.

The wickedness of the world has reached the point where the Lord will certainly arise to punish bold and defiant wickedness against His holy law, while His very great forbearance toward continual insult to His holy commandments is cause for marvel.
