Psalm 119:78 belongs to a psalm that exalts the sacredness of God's law. The law presented there is the rule of life, and God's testimonies and judgments give counsel and mark out the way of truth. The verse speaks to a time when the world's wickedness has reached the point where the Lord will intervene. It testifies to God's sure judgment upon persistent wickedness.
