Psalms 128:3
Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
This promise belongs within a blessing given to those who revere the Lord and order their lives according to His ways. Within the home the wife is likened to a vine bearing abundantly, a picture of fruitfulness and prosperity flourishing in domestic life under divine favor. The children are likened to young olive shoots clustered around the family table, a picture of fruitfulness and prosperity flourishing in domestic life under divine favor.
