Psalms 130:4

But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

Forgiveness, even forgiveness of iniquity, is with God. That forgiveness leads people to fear Him with reverence and honor. Forgiveness is joined to reverent worship, so those who come as helpless and needy may seek His mercy rather than claiming righteousness of their own. In its setting, this forgiveness grounds patient waiting and hope in His word, along with confidence in His mercy and abundant redemption from iniquity. This forgiveness makes it possible to turn to Him and be transformed.
