Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
Israel, God's people, are called to place their hope in the Lord and to keep hoping in Him from the present time onward and forever. That hope is to be maintained without ceasing, extending from henceforth into eternity. Such enduring hope is the fitting response to God's goodness and love shown toward His people as a whole. It is fitting for the church and its ministers in particular, as well as for each person individually, in view of His goodness and love toward them collectively and personally.
