Psalms 132:15

I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.

Psalm 132 was likely written by Solomon after the temple was built and may have been sung at its dedication. The promise of abundant provision belongs to the larger promise that the Lord will dwell in Zion forever and that David's throne and kingdom will flourish there. The verse promises that God will abundantly provide for Zion and satisfy its poor with bread, meeting their needs.

Together with Psalms 22 and 72 it sets forth the eternal reign of righteousness, and its promises could not be fulfilled in their fullness without the Lord's resurrection. It encourages those poor in worldly goods to trust God's care. It calls them to seek riches of faith and the eternal inheritance.
