Levites Praise the LORD at Eveningby emmanuel_higgins

Psalms 134:1

Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD.

Behold is a summons to every servant of the Lord who stands by night in His house to bless Him. It is not for a few but for all His servants, called even in the night watches of their service to give Him blessing. The blessing called for is praise and thanksgiving to God. It is expressed by lifting up holy hands in His sanctuary.

The call carries with it the assurance that the Lord who made heaven and earth blesses His servants out of Zion. Those addressed are those who overcome through Jesus Christ. They love Him most because they have overcome much. They are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might through His constant love and enabling power. They arise and shine because their light is come.

In the day when each one is rewarded according to his works, they will be clothed in white raiment. Their names will be retained in the book of life and confessed before the Father and before His angels. They will be greatly honored, standing next to Christ within the inner circle.
