Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.
All servants of the Lord who minister in His sanctuary are called to lift up their hands there and bless the Lord. That lifting of the hands in blessing is an expression of praise and thanks to God. It is an exhortation to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, knowing His love and His constant help.
This call belongs to those who overcome much and love Jesus most. In the day when each one is rewarded according to his works, they will be placed next to Christ within the inner circle, greatly honored and clothed in white raiment. The call is joined to arising and shining because light has come, and to the promise that the Lord who made heaven and earth blesses out of Zion.
