Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.
Psalm 141:9 is a prayer for God to keep the speaker from the traps laid by workers of iniquity and to protect from snares set by evildoers. In the perils that come before the Lord's coming, it asks for protection from the tempter. God will not save those whose affections cling to earthly things and whose eyes wander over the earth, leaving them prey to temptation.
