Psalms 143:8
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
Trust in the verse is reliance on the Lord for help and strength. It is the answer of one who feels personal weakness and infirmity. Faced with that need, the trusting soul makes the Lord his dependence.
