Psalms 144:11
Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood: Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:
The verse is a prayer asking God to rescue his people from deceitful foreign enemies. Their mouths speak empty, vain words and their right hands act in falsehood. It expresses the felt need for God's deliverance from such hostile persecutors.
