Psalms 144:13
That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets: That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:
The verse portrays storehouses filled to capacity and furnishing every variety of supply as the fruit of divine mercy and unbounded generosity. It joins to that picture flocks multiplying into thousands and tens of thousands in the open ways, as further proof of full provision and increase bestowed by God. Such goodness is given to awaken a vivid, realizing sense of divine kindness and to call forth direct praise to the Lord. That call rebukes a spirit that withholds praise, and moves those who feel it to bear testimony and to praise Him openly.
