To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
God's saints bless Him by speaking of the glory of His kingdom and talking of His power in order to make His mighty acts and the glorious majesty of His kingdom known to the sons of men, to all people. This speaking belongs to the praise due to a great and unsearchable God, whose works give thanks to Him and whose great goodness and righteousness are declared from one generation to another. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and His dominion endures throughout all generations, calling for the mouth to speak His praise and for all flesh to bless His holy name forever and ever. Making His mighty acts and the glorious majesty of His kingdom known to people is a reason to praise Him and calls for a conscious response to His mercies and unbounded goodness. This duty is carried out in speaking of His goodness and power and in praising Him for the strength He gives.
