Psalms 147:10

He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.

God takes no delight in physical strength, neither in the power of the horse nor in the speed and vigor of a person's legs. Might in man or beast does not win His pleasure, and His regard is not gained by human force. The strength of the horse and the power of human limbs stand in contrast to what delights Him.

What pleases Him and draws His regard is reverence toward Him joined with hope in His mercy, as the verse that follows declares.
